Ronnie James Dio dead at 67

Hi all. I just heard about this a few minutes ago. I didn't know he was quite that old and I didn't know he had stomach cancer. What a shame. He had a fantastic voice.

The world of metal has lost a legind, and it's voice. Though he's gone, he'll never be forgotten. Ronny, if you're up there on that great big stage with Chuck Schuldiner, rest in piece, we will never forget you, and your music will live forever.

Dio has influenced so many people in his life, including the likes of Doro Pesch, who was a good friend of his, just to name one. He undoubtably left his mark in the world of music, weather it was with rainbow, his years with black sabbath, or his long fruitful solo career, he'll live on now and ever more.

I wasn't much of a Dio fan, but I am still disappointed by the loss. I will definitely have my horns up at the next show I go to. Rest in peace!

I love his music, was sorry to hear he'd died! I'm sorry to hear, like the late Raul Julia, he'd had stomach cancer. Rest in peace!
